Cruise Ship Vacations Are as Popular as Ever in Melbourne, FL

Thanks to some recent developments, cruise ship vacations are as popular as ever in Melbourne, FL. Carnival Cruise Line recently announced some plans that make this type of vacation even more appealing.

Carnival Announces Plans for On-Board Roller Coaster

Recently, Carnival Cruise Lines announced that they plan on launching a ship that has its own rollercoaster. In 2020, the cruise liner plans on sending off the Mardi Gras with a sea coaster.

The sea coaster, known as the BOLT, will be one of the first of its kind. It is an open-air ride that gives riders quite the thrill.

With 800 feet of track, the coaster will reach as fast as 40 miles per hour. The riders will ride side by side as if they are in a race. Eventually, they rise more than 187 feet over the sea and get incredible views.

In addition to having the rollercoaster, the ship will also feature several other unique attractions. It will run out of the new terminal at Port Canaveral.
